Luís Felipe Rios

Coordinator

Full Professor in the Psychology Department at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), where he teaches on the Undergraduate Psychology Course and the Postgraduate Programme in Cognitive Psychology. Received a degree in Psychology from UFPE, a Master's degree in Anthropology from UFPE and a PhD in Public Health from UERJ and completed Postdoctoral Research in Social Psychology from USP. National Council for Technological and Scientific Development (CNPq) Research Productivity Fellow. Areas of interest are cultures and homosexualities, cognition and emotion, religion and sexuality, sexuality and life stages, health education, and the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.

Laerte de Paula Borges Santos

Deputy Coordinator

Adjunct Professor at the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Received a degree in Psychology from UNIVASF and a Master's and PhD in Psychology from UFPE. Interested in discussions related to Community Social Psychology and its intersections with issues of race, sexuality, gender, prisons, territory, public safety, and human rights.

Karla Galvão Adrião

Full Professor at the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), where she teaches on both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Psychology Programmes. Received a degree in Psychology (UFPE), a Master's degree in Literature and Linguistics (UFPE), and a PhD in Human Sciences with a concentration in gender studies from UFSC, and completed Postdoctoral Research in Clinical and Social Psychology from CUNY-USA. Is an art therapist and Soucollage® facilitator. Areas of interest are: language, discourse, post-structural and decolonial feminist epistemologies and methodologies; dissident sexualities, arts and group processes; subjectivation processes, race and whiteness.

Luciana Vieira

Associate Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), affiliated with the Department of Psychology. Former faculty member of the Post-graduate Programme in Clinical Psychology at UNICAP (2006-2010) and the Post-graduate Programme in Psychology at UFPE (2011-2020). Founder and Manager of the LGBT Directorate at UFPE (2015-2019), linked to the rector's office. Former member of the ANPEPP working group on ‘Psychology, Politics and Sexualities’ (2011-2020). Received a degree in Psychology from UNICAP (1994), a Master's degree in Fundamental Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis from the University of Paris VII (1999), and a PhD in Public Health from the Institute of Social Medicine (IMS) at UERJ (2005), and completed Postdoctoral Research at the University of Porto (2020). Her areas of interest and research are in the fields of psychoanalysis in relation to gender, sexuality and race relations, as well as public health policies related to LGBTQIA+ people.

Tacinara Queiroz

Adjunct Professor at UFMS, where she teaches on the Psychology programme at FACH. Received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a Master's degree in Psychology (UFPE) and a PhD in Psychology (UFPE). Experienced in the areas of Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Health, researching topics such as Subjectivation Processes, Childhood, Young People, Information and Communication Technologies, Sexuality, Psychosocial Processes, Power and Collective Practices, in relation to various sociocultural contexts.

Mariana Andrade Gomes

A National Council for Technological and Scientific Development (CNPq) 1A Fellow in Knowledge Dissemination Support who works at ComunicaEshu (LabEshu-UFPE). Received a PhD in Literature and Culture from the PPGLitCult-UFBA, a Master's degree in Social Communication from the PPGCOM-UFPE, a Bachelor's Degree in Literary Criticism from UFPE and a Licentiate Degree in Portuguese Language and Literature from UNICAP. Conducts intersectional research, with an emphasis on ethnic-racial relations in literature.

Cinthia de Oliveira Silva

A National Council for Technological and Scientific Development (CNPq) Level B Fellow in Industrial Technological Development and a Researcher at LabEshu. Received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a Master's Degree in Psychology (UFPE) and a specialisation in Human Rights, Education and Restorative Justice (Joaquim Nabuco Foundation). Conducts research into Human Rights, Education, Sexual and Reproductive Rights, HIV/AIDS, Religiosity, Gender Studies, Feminist Theories, Queer Studies, Body, Sexuality, Race, Psychoanalysis and Mental Health. Works as a psychoanalyst.
